Biography
It’s hard to remember now how long we’ve been making music, but we set a point in 2006 when we started playing together as our birthday. The band was formed by members of two previously existing bands and since then the formation has never changed.
We all have our day jobs and Lifecut:review is completely independent and self-promoted band with DIY ideology and an urge for sound quality.
In 2010 we released our first studio record split into 2 EPs. We decided to split the release because we felt like those songs belong to different periods and should be presented separately with different sound and cover design.
In 2009 we supported Norma Jean and Misery Signals on stage during their gigs in Moscow and those were really massive gigs!
Our latest achievement is the release of our Third EP in 2012 which is a whole next level for us regarding the attitude to record and the overall release quality. We called it Third EP because it’s obviously third in a row and closing this series of EPs, our next stop is a full length album.
Our music is a blend of sounds that we have in our heads, our raging emotions, desires and feelings towards the world we live in, all wrapped in post-hardcore esthetics, saturated with melodies and supported by ever changing rhythmical structure.
In our records we pursue the quality and character in sound trying to achieve the finest audible result. And since we’re an independent band without any external support we should be grateful to fate for the opportunity to work with some of the best sound producers on the modern heavy stage who helped us record and shape the sound, to make something we are be proud of.
